1. ATS Score Disclaimer
ATS scores provided by PassTheBot are estimates only based on our proprietary scoring algorithm trained on publicly available ATS documentation. They do not guarantee, predict, or indicate whether your resume will pass or fail any specific Applicant Tracking System used by an employer.
Different ATS systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Taleo, Bullhorn, iCIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) use different algorithms, keyword weightings, filtering criteria, and proprietary logic that we do not have access to. Our score is:
- A general estimate of resume quality relative to a job description
- NOT a prediction of ATS outcome for any specific employer or system
- NOT a guarantee that a high score will result in interview invitations
- NOT a guarantee that a low score will result in rejection
Actual ATS outcomes depend on numerous factors including: the specific ATS system used, employer configuration, recruiter filtering, job requirements, market conditions, and luck. PassTheBot cannot control or predict these variables.
2. AI-Generated Content
Our AI optimization tool generates resume content using large language models (LLMs). AI is not perfect. While we strive for accuracy and relevance, please be aware that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or completely fabricated details that do not reflect your actual experience
- AI may "hallucinate" (invent) skills, experiences, or accomplishments that you never mentioned
- AI may misunderstand context, dates, or achievements and present them incorrectly
- AI may generate content that is grammatically correct but factually false or misleading
- You are solely and personally responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in any job application
- Using unreviewed AI-generated content in a job application may constitute fraud or misrepresentation to the employer
- We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content, including but not limited to: job application rejection, offer rescission, wrongful termination, reputational damage, or legal action by employers
- If you submit an application containing AI-generated content that is inaccurate or false, you — not PassTheBot — are liable to the employer
Best practice: Always verify that every sentence in your optimized resume is true and reflects your actual experience, qualifications, and achievements.
3. No Employment Guarantee
PassTheBot does not guarantee:
- Job interviews or employment offers
- Any specific outcome from using our service
- That employers will view or consider your application
- That our job search results are complete or current
Job search results are aggregated from third-party sources and may include outdated, duplicate, or inaccurate listings. We are not responsible for the accuracy of job listings or the hiring decisions of employers.
4. Not Professional Advice
PassTheBot does not constitute:
